If I held onto these icons one more second, I was going to shoot myself. It would have been very messy. It's just such an effort to code and cross-post. If I wasn't such a snob I'd just use a generator for coding, but I have too much fucking pride and insist on doing it by hand. As for cross-posting...to be honest I probably won't x-post these, or at least not all of them. Some of the fandoms I have absolutely no interest in anymore (I'm looking at you Grey's Anatomy) and some of them there are just too few icons to really justify an x-post. Some of these I really love, others I really hate, but I'm finally dumping them after months of just sitting on my hard drive. It makes me sad to realize I only posted icons three times in all of 2008. And now that I've finished all the coding, I'm too lazy to x-post. Whatever. At least this is done.

Well, at least it wasn't a whole year between posts this time. Also, I think I might be exceptionally proud of this batch. Some are several months old but others are as new as today. I wish I had more South of Nowhere icons to post but if I wait to accumulate more this spark of motivation will pass and no one will see these until October. ( I Can't Think of Anything Witty )

Boredom begets productivity! No, not really. But in this case it begets a post of fanmix recommendations.

This is a work in progress in that I'll probably lose my patience before I finish it tonight and, of course, new mixes appear all the time and will hopefully be added later. I think all the fanmixes in this post are excellent and worthy of a recomendation, so the order in which I rec them has no meaning, it's simply the order in which I remembered/found the links to/itunes played a song off of - them.

Also, this is going to be heavy on the Doctor Who because that fandom just has so many wonderful mixes (and also I'm obsessed). And, lastly, I'm barely touching some of the large fandoms, like Harry Potter and Twilight, because theres just so much there, I'm only recing the ones that I might have currently open.

Also, I'm not providing warnings. I'll give a time line if I can but I'm not warning explicitly for spoilers or mature content.

So this all started when I was at the mall, and "I Still Remember" by Bloc Party started playing while I was in the Gap and I was singing along and all of a sudden I realized the song was just screaming Rose/Doctor post-Doomsday. So out of that grew this fanmix. It loosely covers their adventures in seasons one and two, doomsday and the aftermath, and of course, the recent and upcoming events of season four. (Which by the way, yes, does mean spoilers for season four, so stay away if you don't want to know.)

I also couldn't resist adding a song to the end for the terrible peril everyone is in at the moment.
